We are Floortje, Gianna, Charlotte, Nady, Aafke and Annefleur. Floortje is 15 years old, Gianna is 15 years old, Charlotte is 14 years old, Nady is 16 years old, Aafke is 16 years old and Annefleur is 14 years old. We make our newspaper about Oldenzaal. Oldenzaal is a beautiful city with a lot of cultural activities.

Hulsbeek
The summer is coming, that means only one thing of course; HULSBEEEEK! Hulsbeek is a recreational lake where you can swim, sports, BBQ and more fun things. There is also a kart track and a skating rink.

Since 1929 is it a museum. The house shows how the exterior of a house in the middle looked like, and how the inside of a house in the 18th century looked like. The rooms are decorated in different styles. The instruments of the doctors have been preserved.

Festivals in Oldenzaal
The carnaval has just been in Oldenzaal.
This festival is celebrated as every year with a big parade and celebration in the city. In the marketplace of the center is a large tent. In Rouwhorst is a large tent outside and within the youth, for the elderly and children. Each year, this is again a great success.
In Oldenzaal you also have 'de boeskool is lös'. This is THE typical Oldenzaalse celebration of summer. In the afternoon you can find all the market stalls and evening are partying. Even with this party's on the market a large tent. With this party you have a different theme each year.

At Thursday the 9th of June comes Jochem Myjer with his new performance 'Even Geduld Aub'.
At Tuesday the 5th of April comes the movie 'Stella'. It goes about a girl. She is 11 years old. She lives in Paris with her parents. Her parents don't give her enough love and she must go to a school for rich children.
Also in the foyer of the theater is from the 10th of March till the 10th of May an exhibition of art by Christine John. Christine John began at the age of thirteen with the self-production of clothing. After the 10th of May comes another artist to show her work.
